]]>I do wonder what you think of the claims US and UK based shareholders have against British banks over PPI mis-selling and LIBOR.. Could they sink some large names? Could there be another bailout?
I agree that there is call for a rigorous investigation but ultimately it will cause more chaos. This is why the decision to provide Cooperative bank with new branches, or Lloyds’ managers with a new persona makes little sense. The more diverse the future banking system the better. The larger the banks the more scope for corruption as they cozy up to politicians, regulators and others who conceal the daily fraud.
