I do wonder what you think of the claims US and UK based shareholders have against British banks over PPI mis-selling and LIBOR.. Could they sink some large names? Could there be another bailout?
I agree that there is call for a rigorous investigation but ultimately it will cause more chaos. This is why the decision to provide Cooperative bank with new branches, or Lloyds’ managers with a new persona makes little sense. The more diverse the future banking system the better.
